What is the purpose of these website?
sites in the network provide product reviews and various shopping-tools and redirect visitors into on-line stores to make a purchase or get more info. A commission is earned when visitor click on product's link to visit the on-line store, and then buy a product. The amount of the commission is vary from 4% to 8% of sell price, depending on the overall products purchased for an account. Since all websites are connected with the same account, then each purchase generated by one of the websites in the network, increase the chance for getting higher commissions for all other purchases from all other websites in the network.
For those who are not familiar with this commissions model the name is "Affiliation" and it is part of "Internet Marketing".

Rhizome Networks LTD own network of websites that serve for two purposes:
- These websites are intend to be use for testing the collaboration and virtual-consulting open framework developed by Rhizome Networks. The framework was not yet launched, but when it will launch for beta testing, each website will automatically be integrated with the framework that will provide unusual added value for free, for each website.
- The income from these websites are intend to support the development, marketing and operation of Rhizome Networks' platform.
How can you be part of it
Now when you understand the purpose of these website, the question is: How can you benefit from it?
In order to create the initial community for running and testing Rhizome Networks platform, and in order to provide some basic source of income to support R&D marketing and operation, We decided to open the network of websites to public and we offer two models of participation:
1. Option-1 Fixed monthly fee: For a fixed monthly fee of $25/month you get a single hosted website ready-made for some specific niche of products. You don't need to do anything but promoting the website since website is already prepared and hosted. It also means that you DON'T own the website, but pay fixed monthly fee for using it for generating commission that goes directly into your affiliation account. You may decide to keep website as-is and don't make any promotional effort. This is up to you, however, although surprises happen sometimes, you generally should not expect good results. A good result means earning 75$/month or more from a single website. Note that when you take this option, your account is not benefit from total purchases of other websites, as described above, so you should expect a commission of about 4%-6%. Meaning, for good results ($75) you should generate purchases of about $1500 or more. This is not easily achieved with no promotion.
2. Option-2 Free website + Revenue sharing: If you select this option you will get from Rhizome Networks a free hosted and ready-made website. As with first option you DON'T own the website. Instead, you will promote the website, that will make you eligible for revenue sharing with Rhizome Network. If you select this option you should not even need to create affiliation accounts since you are using websites that is connected to affiliation networks, through Rhizome Networks' account. It also means that you benefit from purchase of other websites that increase the chance for getting higher commission for larger amount of purchase.
To be eligible for revenue sharing you will need to promote the website. You will get an explanation of how to do that, and what is the minimum action required by you to be eligible for revenue sharing. Revenue share with eligible participants is 60/40 - 60% for you, 40% for us form all income generated by purchases generated by the website you promote (for website the links include unique identifier that help to determine the source website for a purchase).
Getting started for Option-1 is easy:
1. First you should contact by email below and describe your interest in this program. You will be asked to register on this website, that will provide us with contact details of you, and Interface for interacting and managing some parts of the website.
2. You must have Affiliate account. Usually this will be for one or more of Amazon branches, but other options also exists.
3. Then you should provide us with tracking-id and niche of products you are interested in. We will create the website, and contact you back when ready.
4. Optionally you can provide us with your domain name, so we will install the website using your domain name. If you need assistance in purchasing a domain, then we will help you with that. You will need to set the name-servers to the one we will provide you. If you do not provide us with your domain then additional fee for searching and purchasing a domain will be required. Rhizome Networks will own the domain in this case.
5. We will give you basic explanation of the various features in the website, and how you can promote it. And that's it. Start to promote your website, by adding side-bar previews, adding articles and back linking.
Getting started for Option-2 is easy too:

2. You should provide us with the niche of products for preparing your website. We will prepare a website and contact you back when ready.
3. Optionally you can provide us with your domain name, so we will install the website using your domain name. If you need assistance in purchasing a domain, then we will help you with that. You will need to set the name-servers to the one we will provide you. If you do not provide us with your domain then additional fee for searching and purchasing a domain will be required. Rhizome Networks will own the domain in this case.
4. We will give you basic explanation of the various features in the website, and how you can promote it. And that's it.
Website is ready - what next?
So far you didn't do much. Now when website is ready, the work is starting. Your task is to promote the website. If you chose "Option-1" then it is up to you to decide the promotion effort. You may decide to do nothing and let the website work by itself (do not expect good results) or you can promote as much as you like.
If you chose "Option-2" then we expect some minimum of promotion work from participants, in order to be eligible for revenue sharing activity that includes:
- At least 20 posts / month on "new/articles" sidebar
- At least 1 related original articles added each month.
- At least 5 new back-links every month.
This list is not the written in stone. Different websites behave differently, and there are many factors like niche, seasonal events, other website in the fields, changes in search-engine behavior and more. If you found the golden-egg for your website, we will not insist on this list. Still this list is a guideline.
You should also know that this list does not promises success! n fact, there is no secret list of actions for generating income from websites that base their traffic source of organic search engines traffic (and don't let anyone B.S about such formula).
This list is then guiding line and reflect some minimum that is required in order to generate "textual value" for a website. You will get more explanations later for what exactly to write and how, but generally speaking to let you estimate the effort yuo may consider this:
1. Adding "original text" post on sidebar takes 5-7 minutes.
2. Writing "simple" original short article of 500-700 words takes 45min to 90min depending on your experience.
3. Creating back link can take from few minutes or, if you already have an idea where to post (for example on a blog) or more, if you search where to post.
You now can estimate your effort in about 3-5 hours a month. Of course you will get not benefit from making all posts on the same day. The purpose of the post/article is to drive search engine traffic, so it must be there for some time to take effect. You content work must goes gradually.
Website advantages:
1. These catalog websites are not like putting aStore in your website (For those that little bit familiar with Amazon). While aStore does not provide your site with any level of content authority, these websites that use the amazon API (or RSS based API, or API from other affiliate networks) prepare for each product a dedicated page, with presence for the search engine. A single website may have hundreds to thousands indexed pages in Google.
2. Product pages are optimized, for product name and model in terms of on-page SEO. Products prices are updated daily.
3. Sites are equipped with built-in micro-data (schema.org) to encourage search-engines to present rich snippet in search engine result page (SERP). A rich snippet for those that don't know, is when a picture is presented nearby website description in the SERP, or when prices are presented. or when ranking stars are presented. Microdata is not only for rich snippet. It is also define for search engine the context of a website. This is definitely one of the important aspects today for present-future SEO.
4. Site is provided with simple user interface for posting news and refer to articles from the sidebar. So all you have to do is to write your post and press "save". This user interface also let you manage archiving of posts.
5. Built-in caching mechanism makes page load faster.
6. RSS is updated daily with different collection of products.
7. You can use top-iframe and side-iframe to present banners and/or messages. iframe content is managed from a single file for multiple sites (using FTP).
8. You can configure your site by editing categories and/or add pages manually.
9. Websites are hosted for you (you can have more then one website). Optionally, use dedicated IP for all your sites, and/or dedicated hosting.
10. Facebook, +1 and socail;-bookmarking tools are installed. In addition, you can relate a website with you Google+ page if you have one.
11. Pages of these websites are using Facebook open-graph script. It means that when someone Like your page, the page is automatically added into your Facebook account as anew page, and is becoming available for search within Facebook. Sometimes (depending on Facebook) pages are extern to Google and become also available in the SERP, through Facebook.
12. A site is usually targeted the audience of specific local, US, CA, Germany, UK, Italy, France etc. It is not limited to US!

Optional additions:
* domain-name search and purchase for your website. You will pay the domain cost. Rhizome Networks will own the domain. Alternatively you can provide your own domain. Buy domain is easy, and we can give you direction.
* Dedicated VPS in the case of high traffic volume. Price depends on required hosting
plan. This will probably not be relevant in the beginning.
* Dedicated IP address. You will pay the monthly cost price - usually this is $2/mo.
Important to read
IMPORTANT NOTE - While these websites can generate some income without any action from your side, it is recommended to take this offer only if you intend to keep websites content updated, in addition to the products catalog info, that is created for you automatically. This means adding unique articles and positing frequently to the news and articles sidebar. In addition you may want to create back-links to your website, and encourage your friends and "Friends" to like your pages.
Frequent and continues promotional activities of posting RSS links in RSS directories, social bookmarking, Like, +1 and Tweet, and of course updating articles and news content, is considered as good practice.
Some facts based on experience:
- sites with no back-links can drive traffic and generate commission and be successful the same as sites with back-links.
- Sites with PR-0 can be more successful then site with PR-1 or PR-2.
- .info domains (that cost $2 for first year) can have the same success as .com , .net or .org that cost more. Yet, it is usually takes more time for .info to get indexed. For websites dedicated for audience in specific local for example UK, the local domain - co.uk in this example, generate much faster indexing in Google. Still, for the long-term, .info domains can be successful too.
- It may happen that Google manipulate the traffic Up and Down. Sometimes after period of success you may find that 80% of traffic has gone in one day. This happen!!! My recommendation for you is to keep your site fresh with "UNIQUE" and "NAIVE" content that is "RELEVANT" to the niche of products you promote, and make sure to include keywords in the titles, content and links anchor (if you create links from your content). BUT! stay naive and don't try to over SEO! More techniques will be explain to participants.
