This book is dedicated to "How to" and "What is" questions and their answers. Questions are expected to be related with the topics of this social network.
In each page you can find a single "how to" / "what is" question and then one or more answers. This can relate with small technical questions, such as "how to add new page to book" or "What is the purpose of <strong> tag , as well as more sophisticated questions such as, "how do I create new surface for Rhizome Browser".
Lets start...
When you create a content for publishing on Rhizome Networks Social 3.0, you may set the "publishing" option of the page you create so it will not be published. This is required for example when preparing a document and wanting to save a draft copy, that can be progressed with later.
Here is how you do it:
1)
Create new content page - for example Blog Entry
2) Scroll down the page and find "Publishing options" settings box
3) Uncheck all the checkbox controls. The page will not be published.
4) Press save
Now lets assume you want to return to unpublished document and edit, and possibly publish:
1) From navigation menu select "Activity"
2) Select "My Unpublished" link and clock
3) See all your unpublished pages
4) Select the page you would like to edit
Rhizome Networks Social 3.0 website allow you to switch website look&feel - that is call "theme".
1) From navigation menu select "My Account"
2) Select the "Edit" tab
3) Scroll down the page and search for "Theme configuration" title
4) Select among the available themes.
Sometimes you need to have the URL address for your blog, in order to set it on some personal profile of other network. For example, when you want to set a reference to your personal blog on Rhizome Networks, from within your Facebook profile. Here is how you do that:
1. From navigation menu: Select "Blogs" and then "My Blog"
2. On the address field of your web browser (Internet Explored, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, safari etc') you will see the requested URL address
3. Copy this URL by selecting its text and use the mouse right-click "copy" menu.
4. Paste the URL where you need to..
Example:
http://www.virtual-workplace.org/blog/2
The last part of the URL ("2" in this case above) is actually your user number.

Contacting "rhz_admin" is very easy. But first, How is rhz_admin?
rhz_admin is special user that represent the administrator of thsi social network, and has all the permissions required for managing content, monitoring content, performing maintenance tasks and configuring the network. 1. Click the "rhz_admin" link of a post submitted by rhz_admin. See for example the first post on the home page. You will see a line that look like this "Submitted by rhz_admin on Fri, 05/21/2010 - 16:20 " . Click the link "rhz_admin".
2. You will get to rhz_admin profile page with the title "Profile of rhz_admin" . Select the "Contact" tab under the title line.
3. Write your message and press "send e-mail" button. That it!
